The Slipstream type yacht is a modification of the slightly more common Nimbus class yacht. The principle difference between the Slipstream and the Nimbus being an improved sensor suite on the Slipstream. The design was originally intended to fill a government requirement for a diplomatic vessel capable of both providing luxury accomodations and with a better sensor capability than normal civilian vessels. The Alston League government has ordered a number of this type, but the name vessel herself was purchased by a private citizen. |
