The Tsalka class patrol sloop was, like a significant portion of the old Delsun
Comagistrate navy, built in the system of Arana. The Tsalka is basically a
conventional small warship built at the lower end of interstellar capability.
The lower technology of the design is partially compensated for by the use of
larger barbette mountings than the more usual turret sized weapon mounts
commonly found in this size of vessel.
