The Tyson class of launch is a small unarmed subordinate vessel designed to act as a shuttle between a world and its parent vessel. It was particularly common in the Arana system and on board starships built there. Now examples can be found throughout the Czarate of Delsun. The Tyson is expensive for a vessel of its type, most of the value being invested in the Active EMS and direction finder system. The decision to fit the system was a result of political maneuvering in the old Comagistrate by a minister with ties to the manufacturer. |
