The Hyacinth type II class ship's boat is the mid range version of the Hyacinth
family of ship's boats. Type IIs are arguably the most widespread of the
Hyacinth types and the Hope Federation has a number assigned to warships as
away boats. In order for the type II to reach its designed specifications a
larger power plant was fitted compared to the type I.
