The Melasti Telva class of fleet tanker was the final production model of the
line that began with the TL11 Appleleaf class.
The improvements in technology led to a much reduced crew requirement making
the Melasti Telvas more economic to run, relatively, than other fleet tanker
classes. They were also much cheaper to construct which authorities found a
great plus.
