The Mogul Wanderer class fleet tankers were designed as a replacement for the
previous TF-11 Appleleaf class fleet tankers. Like the Appleleaf class vessels
Moguls are capable of skimming gas giants for fuel and also carry a number of
heavy fuel shuttles.
The Mogul Wanderer class has a designated fuel cargo tankage of 2,453,239.2
kliters
compared to the 2,401,427 kliters of the Appleleaf class giving the Mogul's a
slightly higher flexibility, it also means that less maneuver fuel would be
consumed if a Tigress class dreadnought for example had to be completely
refuelled. The Mogul's are also somewhat cheaper to build and
operate than the preceding class.
