The Vanguard class battleship was one of several classes designed to meet the third imperiums BB-11 specifications. Not designed as a front line warship Vanguards were found in backwater areas. With the rebellion the BB-11 classes found new life as the war of attrition continued. It is possible that examples can still be found, possibly with infecting virus strains.
