The Black Widow class of heavy fighters were a second line fighter used by the Solomani in lower threat areas. A number were also passed on to smaller states and provincial forces. A number ended up in the hands of the Delsun Comagistrate in the Banners sector who produced them in large numbers prior to virus striking. It is believed that the Czarate of Delsun still operates several squadrons equipped with the Black Widow. Carrying a standard turret socket and five launch grapples for standard space missiles the Black Widow was considered a versatile workhorse. |
