The Alston league navy operates four vessels of this type as armoured
scout/couriers. The Cobras were originally designed during the closing stages
of the self destruction of the Third Imperium by the Solomani as a low-tech
courier. Many
surviving ships of the class found their way into the hands of corsairs, and it
was from this source that the Alston League obtained the four vessels it
operates.
