The Viking class grav armoured personnel carrier was in widespread service with
Alston planetary forces prior to virus. A significant number of Viking class
and derivative vehicles survive and are principally used to equip elite army
and marine formations.
As Alston cannot replace lost Viking class vehicles, a large stock is
maintained in reserve and commanders are urged to ensure that if a vehicle is
lost that it is stripped of any usable parts.
