The Talon XB-4 Jet Bomber pushes the edge of TL5 capability. Compared with the
older Vendetta B3 the Talon is heavy on electronics which pushes the cost of
the aircraft up enormously. The thrust is produced by a pair of turbojets which
also supplement the aircrafts power supply. The turbojets provide power for all
on-board systems with the exception of the radar which is powered by an on-board
battery.

Other Notes:
|
Turbojets produce a power surplus of 0.0584Mw which is used to recharge the
battery. The battery can operate the radar for 6 minutes on full charge. The
radar is normally used on final approach to a target. The poor range of the
XB-4 has resulted in experiments in air-to-air refuelling.
