Prior to virus nine of the eleven systems in the subsector were dominated by
Aslan, and though they were nominally independant, three systems, Htai'asta,
Aaweikh and Hei'liy were controlled directly by the Aslan Hierate's Tlaukhu
clans. Two other systems, Spa and New Monaco were human dominated, though both
with Aslan populations.
Virus itself did not have a great effect on the backwater subsector. One system died, Htaiskharl, all others survived. But apart from Htai'asta which precariously holds onto an interstellar capability all other systems became cut off. | The Htai'asta subsector contains eleven systems with, in 5635 AD (1117 Imperial) a total population of 10.2 billion sophonts. The highest population level was 9 at Tleakh, and the highest tech level was 12 found at Htai-asta and Stoirl. In 5717 AD (1201 Imperial), the total population is 10.7 billion sophonts, with the highest population level 10 at Tleakh and the highest tech level 9 at Htai'asta. |
