The binary starsystem of GJ 725 A/B or Struve 2398 A/B is situated some six light years from the 61 Cygni starysystem. But it was not until 2514 when Le Royaume des Etoiles du Cygne using hyperpace capable survey vessels purchased from the Federated States of Sol ,surveyed the system and discovered the planet which was to be named Dunois.

In the nearly 150 years since the survey Le Royaume des Etoiles du Cygne has put a lot of effort into developing the world and itsp opulation has grown apace. In 2590 Dunois was made a duchy of the realm under the duc deDunois.

Dunois has become the stopping off point for vessels heading further out to the GJ 687 (BD+68 946 AB) star system and its newly established colony.

Under the duc de Dunois industrial and infrastructure is growing rapidly and it is likely that the principle starport which already produces spacecraft will build itsa first starship within the next decade.
