The Ross 154 star system is located at the edge of the volume of space
named Core
Space. The system is claimed by the Grand Duchy of Grenadine, which currently
consists solely of this system and a deep space station. The designated main
world Grenadine orbits in a close orbit to Ross 154, the primary, and is
tidally locked to the star, which is also a flare star. Despite this extensive
life managed to develop on the world. The tidal locking helping protect the
life forms as they learnt to detect the onset of flares and where possible took
shelter by either burrowing into deep caverns or moving to the shaded side of
the planet.
