The planet Perranunda is the mainworld of the GJ 1 starsystem and is a member of the Das Sternen Reich.

The world is held as a fief by the baron of Perranunda who is responsible for the operation of the civil facilities on the world and is a major shareholder in the various mines on the planet.

The Reich navy also has substantial influence on the world, largely as a result of their ongoing consturction of a naval base capable of supporting vessels up to scout cruiser class.

Legislative and Executive power on the world is operated through the barons offices while judicial authority is vested in a number of Landstraard appointed judges.
