The moon Basilisk is the oldest Reich colony outside of the Epsilon Indi system and it and the remainder of the Lacaille 9352 system is claimed as a part of the Das Sternen Reich.

Basilisk was formerly held by the baron of Basilisk. However early in 2661 the baron and his immediate family were executed for treason and the moon and system are now administered by the Reich military.

The barons seat on the Reich's Landstraad Council on Wesse has remained vacant and all baronial assetts have been seized by the government on behalf of the kaisar.
