The planet Shenandoah is the principal world of the DX Cancri system and is a member of the Sirius Trade Federation. The world is administered solely by the Hades Mining Corporation.

As is normal in the Sirius Trade Federation the corporations are responsible for everything within their territories and the worlds civil population has no direct representation, this is especially true of Hades Mining Corporation which provides all services to its drilling platforms on Shenandoah.
