The Luyten's Star star system is a relatively recent addition to the Sirius Trade Federation and is still being examined for explotable resources. The designated main world, Visigoth, is part of a binary planet system called the Gothic Worlds. Its companion, Goth is a much larger world with a very dense atmosphere.

Visigoth is currently a stop over for vessels travelling between the Procyon and Ross 614 systems. As a consequence most Sirius Federation Corporations have offices at the single settlement on Visigoth. Many temporary encampments are established on the worlds surface as exploration continues.
