The planet Tamar is the principal world of the Ross 614 star system and is a member of the Sirius Trade Federation. The world is administered entirely by the corporation Sirius Defence Industries under the auspices of the Sirius Trade Federation Board.

All personnel based in the system are technically employees of Sirius Defence Industries.
