The F5A Goshawk class heavy fighter is the newest heavy fighter type to enter
service with UWC forces. It is now beginning to enter service in significant
numbers where it supplements the smaller F4 series Manticore class fighters. It is planned
that the Goshawk will eventually replace all the existing TL9 and TL10 heavy
fighters still in service with the UWC forces.
