The Icarus class shuttle was designed as a supplement to the Ariel class shuttle. With propulsion provided by a fusion rocket the Icarus has much better endurance than the Ariel, but is unable to operate this drive safely within most atmospheres due to the radioactive nature of the exhaust. |
