The Star Seeker class colony transport were the third and final class of
sub-light interstellat transports laid down under the auspices of the United
Worlds Space Coordination Agency (UWSCA). Of the twelve hulls laid down only
four were completed prior to the invention of the hyperspace translation drive,
of the remaining
hulls four
were converted to the HT drive and four were used as in-system bulk transports.
