Four of the Star Seeker class sub-light colony transports were fitted with the
hyperspace translation drives and became the first faster than light colony
transports. Unlike the sub-light versions, the HTD types were used to ferry
colonies and supplies before finally being used for very long range
exploration. All four vessels have thus far failed to return and the UWC has
listed all as missing.
