TL9 and all surviving vessels of this class have undergone the WESU (Weapons
and Electronics Systems Upgrade) to extend their operational lives. This
entailed replacing old TL9 weapon systems with more modern TL10 versions and
upgrading the sensor and MFD suites to TL10 standard.
